Change of body composition thought diet monitoring during twelve weeks with circuit of resistance training, strength and power in an athlete of Olympic fight
Abstract
Introduction: The present study was prescription of diet and training circuit of an athlete of Olympic fight. Objective: prescription of diets with the purpose of weight loss to change the categories of an athlete in the Olympic fight, during the phase of pre competitive training. Materials and Methods: an athlete of Olympic fight with 26 years of age with body weight of 99.7 Kg; diet of detoxification; diet normocaloric and high–protein with supplementation with fibers, carbohydrates and proteins; circuited of resistance training, strength and power; perimetry and biochemical tests. Results: body weight has reduced by 5.21%; the percentage of fat decreased 3.9%; the abdominal fold reduced in 52.72%; the thoracic fold reduced 61.53%; the suprailiaca reduced 83.8%; subscapular reduced by 58.46%; the left thigh increased 8.93%; the bending test of arm increased 30.95%; abdominal 42.86%; squat 60.97% and spine to 12.67%. Conclusion: This study concludes that the athlete who made the diet and training gained significant improvement in their physical performance and body composition change.
